The MIL Board is excited to reintroduce our Assoicate Director Programme for 2025 and is seeking applications which can be obtained by email lizzie@maoriinvestments.co.nz or here on our website.
Applications will be open until the 31st of March with the successful applicant/s being appointed initially for one year, though the Board reserve the right to extend the tenure of the associate/s position for a further term of 12 months.
The programme itself will include registration and participation on professional development courses through Institute of Directors (IOD) as well as an expectation of full participation to our MIL Board Meetings, held bi-monthly.
The Ideal applicant should:
- be 20+ years old, with a level of governance experience
- have business and/or financial experience or expertise;
- have extensive commercial knowledge;
- have a tertiary degree in either business management, commerce, law, economics, accounting, risk management, human resources or digital technology;
- have a strong affinity with Māori values;
- have some knowledge of the business of MIL and its history; and
- be willing to make a positive individual contribution to the development and growth of MIL.
