Māori kiwifruit growers have exported their first shipment of kiwifruit to Hawaii and have become the sole suppliers to the Hawaiian market through Collaborative marketting with Zespri.

Eastern Bay of Plenty gold kiwifruit manager of Whiritoa orchards, Helen Scott said being part of the collaborative marketing program was exciting and created new opportunities for Māori growers.
